The FSB searched three plants in the case of state defense order fraud


The Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia has conducted searches at three factories and in the homes of their management in the case of fraud in the fulfillment of the state defense order. This was reported on December 25 in the department's department in the Rostov region.
"Large-scale searches were carried out at three bearing plants LLC "10 GPZ" (Rostov-on-Don), OJSC "OK-Loza" (Sergiev Posad), LLC "GPZ-2 Tver", in military representative offices and service organization, as well as in the places of residence of the enterprises' management and the families of the owners", - stated in the message of the Rostov FSSB.
The searches were carried out as part of the investigation of a criminal case of fraud against the managers of OOO "10 GPZ", which was initiated due to embezzlement of state defense order funds on a particularly large scale. The amount of damage amounted to 811 million rubles.
Earlier, on December 23, military investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia reported that a criminal case was opened against Olga Burlakova, the head of the structural subdivision of the Central Housing and Utilities Department (CHUD) of the Russian Ministry of Defense. She is suspected of abuse of official powers in the performance of the state contract. In 2019, Burlakova accepted substandard work, which caused more than 10 accidents on the city's water supply infrastructure. The damage from the actions of the suspect amounted to over 27 million rubles.
