Russian goalie of the New York Rangers Igor Shesterkin and his compatriot from the Carolina Hurricanes Petr Kochetkov were included in the list of the best goalies of the week in the National Hockey League (NHL). This is reported on December 25 in the official account of the league in the social network X (former Twitter).

It is noted that the statistics took into account the percentage of reflected throws. Shestyorkin reflected 95.2% of throws, and Kochetkov - 94.8%. The best was the representative of the Ottawa Senators Linus Ullmark, who reflected 95.7%.

Also on December 22, Kochetkov made two goal assists in a meeting against the Rangers.
