Almost 5,000 people were left without heating due to a communal accident in Ivanovo. 15 apartment buildings were cut off. This was reported on December 25 by TASS with reference to the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Ivanovo region.

"Under the shutdown of heat supply fell 15 apartment buildings with a population of 4971 people," - informed in the department.

It is specified that in addition, some subscribers were disconnected from the hot water supply.

At the moment, 18 people and nine units of equipment are involved in emergency recovery work, from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia - two people and one unit of equipment.

Earlier, on December 12, 40 residential houses in Novosibirsk were left without heating due to an accident on the pipeline. The cause was a defect in the pipeline with a diameter of 800 mm.
