Grad MLRS calculations destroyed AFU strongholds and manpower in Kursk region

Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) of the Army Corps of the "North" group of troops have destroyed platoon strongholds and a concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) personnel in the border area of Kursk Region. This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry on December 25.

"Worked on the main combat position with one combat vehicle. Showed a level of professionalism and efficiency, that is, we quickly moved from one target to another, and all targets were hit," said the commander of the rocket-artillery battery with the call sign Zenit.

In the course of aerial reconnaissance using objective control means, areas of terrain are identified where AFU units are concentrated and are trying to gain a foothold in the border area of the Kursk region. The scouts then transmit the coordinates of the targets to artillery calculations for their elimination.

After preparing the Grad RZSOs for firing, the unit's calculations move to the firing position. Then, having successfully hit the target, the unit promptly turns around and moves to a safe place to reload.

With real-time data from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the successful engagement of targets can be verified.

"The vehicle is great. Works well, no interruptions. There were no malfunctions. Everything is excellent on the technical part, it shows itself well on the road," said the commander of the Grad RZSO combat vehicle with the call sign Maloy.

Due to its high efficiency and firepower, the Grads are constantly under threat of attack by enemy UAVs, so the crews never stay in one place and camouflage the vehicles to make them harder to detect.

How fighters of the "Center" group prepare for assault operations

Earlier, on December 23, a Grad RZSO "Grad" calculation of the "Center" group of troops hit an accumulation of AFU manpower and equipment on the Krasnoarmeyskoye direction of the North Caucasus Military District. It is specified that the targets were hit from a distance of more than 15 kilometers. Thanks to the coordinated actions of the Grad MLRS calculation, the assault units of the "Center" group of troops managed to successfully carry out offensive actions.

The Ukrainian armed forces attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. Ukrainian militants who invaded the Russian territory are being liquidated.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by the Russian President on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the worsening situation in the region.
