UAV units hit an AFU tank near a populated area in Zaporizhzhya region

Unmanned aviation units of Stavropol paratroopers with the help of quadrocopters with drops destroyed a tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near the settlement of Verbovoye in Zaporozhye region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 25.

After launching two attack drones, the operators spotted a serviceable AFU tank, whose crew left the combat vehicle after FPV drones hit it. A decision was made to destroy the equipment.

The first quadrocopter dropped an F-1 grenade on the protective grill on the tank's roof and made a hole in it, after which the operator of the second quadrocopter threw an incendiary munition into the open hatch of the tank. The tank was neutralized.

The organizational structure of the units will be formed next year

Earlier, on December 24, the Russian Armed Forces' (RFAF) "North" troop grouping hit a pickup truck with AFU's manpower in Sumy Region with an FPV drone. A direct hit on the target was recorded.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which the Russian Federation announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
