RCDZ troops have started training drone operators

The Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces (RCDBZ) have started training operators of copter-type drones, FPV drones, as well as groups to combat unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the enemy. Sources in the Russian Defense Ministry told Izvestia.
Special training of UAV operators for the RCDZ troops takes place at training ranges located both in the points of permanent deployment and in the rear areas of the Strategic Defense Forces. During the training, personnel are familiarized with the theory of use and material part of drones, as well as trained in control, reconnaissance and fire correction with the help of drones.
They said the servicemen receive knowledge of engineering training, military topography and tactical medicine. The program was developed using experience gained during combat operations.
RCDZ troops have flamethrower units armed with heavy flamethrower systems (HFS), military expert Viktor Litovkin said.
"In order to shoot aimably and accurately, they must know the coordinates of targets. In addition, modern combat conditions require the fastest possible reaction. So, TOCs must have good reconnaissance with drones. UAVs will have to find target coordinates and transmit them to the computing center, where they will turn into setting data for firing," he said.
