The AFU attacked two settlements in Belgorod region


The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have attacked two populated areas in Belgorod Region. This was reported by Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov on December 24.
"Two more settlements of our region were attacked by enemy drones. No one was hurt," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
Gladkov informed that in Volokonovsky district in the farm Shakhovka, as a result of a drone detonation near a social facility in the building, windows were broken, the facade and door were slashed.
In addition, he added that drones twice attacked the village of Gruzskoye in Borisovsky district, where the roof of a garage on the territory of an agricultural enterprise was damaged.
Information on the consequences is being clarified.
Earlier in the day, the Ukrainian army attacked three settlements in Belgorod region with the help of drones, one person was injured.
Before that, on December 22, Gladkov reported that over the day the AFU attacked 12 settlements in the Belgorod region. As a result of explosive device drops from a drone in the villages of Rozhdestvenska and Mokraya Orlovka, two private houses and outbuildings on the territory of the households were damaged.
The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
