More than 30 people injured in a traffic accident in the central Philippines


A minibus and an SUV collided in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines, injuring 31 people. This was reported by GMA News TV channel on December 24.
"Of the 31 injured, 29 were passengers of the minibus, and the other two were in the cabin of the SUV," the report specified.
According to the channel, the driver of the minibus lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn on the North Luzon Expressway in the San Fernando region of Pampanga province. Most of the injured were children, the youngest being 10 months old.
The causes and circumstances of the accident are being investigated. Law enforcers are working at the scene, both drivers detained.
Earlier, December 21, it was reported that in Bolivia on the highway La Paz - Oruro collided minibus and truck. As a result of the accident killed 13 people.
