Head of a narcology clinic Alexander Fedorchenko told on Tuesday, December 24, what alcoholic beverages should be avoided during the New Year holidays.

According to the specialist, in the top of forbidden alcoholic drinks are those made in cellars.

"It is not recommended to drink this, as well as everything that is made by unknown people for the sake of profit," the expert said in a conversation with Radio 1.

According to the expert, the human body always knows in what dose it can drink, and the main thing is not to abuse alcohol.

"And if you have a little drink, snack and you have emotional, kind, friendly communication - it's not bad", - concluded the narcologist.

In turn, the chief physician of the children's GUZ "Tula Regional Narcological Dispensary № 1" Yulia Perminova reminded that alcohol and medications can cause serious harm to health, reports 360.ru.

On the eve of the doctor-gastroenterologist of the clinic "Bud Zdorov" in St. Petersburg Olga Mayorova said that at the New Year's feast should give preference to wines or strong unsweetened alcoholic beverages, as they are the safest for the body.

According to her, it is necessary to adhere to a number of rules, choosing safe alcohol for the holidays.

Earlier, on December 18, Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said at a meeting of the board of the Union of Women of Russia that the process of reducing alcohol consumption in Russia has stalled after several years of steady decline, RT reported.
