- Patrushev said it was important to ensure conditions for the advanced development of Siberia

It is necessary to provide conditions for the advanced development of Siberian regions, said Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev. This was reported by his press service on December 24.
It noted that the government is taking measures to stimulate the development of regions. In particular, it develops and implements individual programs of socio-economic development for 10 subjects with low fiscal capacity, including four subjects included in the Siberian Federal District (SFD): Republic of Altai, Republic of Tyva, Republic of Khakassia and Altai Krai.
The programs are developed based on the strengths of each region and on those measures that will have the greatest effect on socio-economic development. For example, the Tyva Republic prioritizes small and medium-sized entrepreneurship, the creation of a special economic zone and industrial park, and the development of automobile transit. In the Altai Republic, emphasis is placed on the development of agro-industrial complex and deep processing of agricultural products.
In Altai Krai, it is planned to develop tourism and create a special economic zone in Barnaul. Among the goals in the Republic of Khakassia are the removal of infrastructure constraints, development of tourism, small and medium-sized businesses. As a result of the implementation of all programs, the quality of life of Russians will improve, including due to the growth of fiscal capacity and increased entrepreneurial activity, organization of new jobs. Each of the regions will receive a total of 6 billion rubles from the federal budget for the implementation of the planned activities during 2025-2030.
The press service of the Deputy Prime Minister specified that Patrushev took part in the formation of individual programs as a curator of the SFD. Under his leadership, the prioritization of activities was carried out to improve their effectiveness.
"Practice has already shown the effectiveness of such approaches. But now our task is to create new points of growth. We need to provide conditions for the advanced development of Siberian regions, for improving people's living standards," he emphasized.
Earlier, on December 11, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the government should once again work out all the issues with the regions by the end of the year, including those related to financing. He recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed those subjects of the Russian Federation, where the implementation of existing national projects is difficult, to propose solutions and adjustments to the national projects that replace them.
