Analysts said that the price of electric cars in Russia will go up

The average cost of an all-electric new car in Russia has jumped by almost 15% to 8.1 million rubles since the beginning of the year, while hybrid cars have gone up in price by 8% to 7.8 million rubles in 11 months. This was reported by Auto.ru analysts to Izvestia on December 25. On the secondary market, the results were the opposite - electric cars have fallen in price by 9% since the beginning of the year, while hybrids have increased in price by 2%.

The number of ads with hybrid models by November decreased by 10% relative to January, and electric cars in the offer became twice less. These results include new and conditionally used cars that are up to two years old and have a mileage of less than 500 kilometers. By the end of November, the market share of Chinese manufacturers reached 85% for electric cars and 89% for hybrids.

The most popular new electric cars in the first 11 months of this year were Zeekr 001 (average cost - Br7.36 million), Hongqi E-HS9 (Br9.71 million) and Zeekr X (Br4.6 million). Among the models with hybrid powertrain, the leaders were LiXiang L9 (Br8.81 million), LiXiang L7 (Br7.5 million) and Voyah Dream (Br9.68 million).

On the secondary market in November, a used hybrid was offered for an average of Br2.47 million, which is 2.3% more than in January. An electric car with mileage will cost an average of Br4.47 million, but this year the average price has decreased by almost 500 thousand, or 9%.

The most popular used hybrids for 11 months are Lexus RX of the third generation, Nissan Note of the second generation and Toyota Prius of the third generation. The greatest demand among electric cars were Tesla Model 3, Porsche Taycan and Nissan Leaf.

The day before it was reported that the company Exlantix began road tests of electric cars and serial hybrids of the brand on Russian roads. The purpose of the tests is to confirm the readiness of the models for Russian road conditions, as well as to conduct comprehensive testing from the perspective of the end user in the local market. During the tests, the full-size crossover ET and the four-door coupe ES will drive 45,000 kilometers.
