Pussy Riot band member Verzilov added to the register of terrorists and extremists

Pussy Riot band member and former publisher of "Mediazona" (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) Pyotr Verzilov (recognized as a foreign agent) has been included in the register of terrorists and extremists in the Russian Federation. This follows from the database of Rosfinmonitoring.
"Verzilov Peter Yurievich, 25.10.1987, the city of Moscow," - stated in the message.
The register also includes an agent of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Yaroslava Khrestina, who handed over explosives for the attempted assassination of ex-SBU colonel Vasyl Prozorov.
In late September 2021, the Russian Ministry of Justice included Mediazona journalists, including Verzilov, in the register of foreign agents. In mid-November of the same year, Verzilov was put on an international wanted list. Later, on April 2, 2024, the court sentenced the publisher in absentia to eight years and four months in prison for fakes about the army.
The explosion of Prozorov's Toyota Land Cruiser SUV occurred on April 12 of this year in a parking lot outside a house in Moscow's Zapadnoe Degunino district. The incident happened while turning on the ignition, the owner of the car injured his leg and was hospitalized. The victim himself blamed Kiev for the attack. It is established that Khrestina with the help of an acquaintance coordinated in June 2023 video surveillance at Prozorov's residence address.
