A Moscow resident was injured when a Christmas tree caught fire in his apartment


A New Year's tree caught fire in one of the apartments of a residential building in the center of Moscow, resulting in injuries. This was reported by the Russian Emergencies Ministry in Telegram on December 24.
The Office also showed footage of the consequences of the fire, which occurred in a five-story building on Sadovaya-Chernogryazskaya Street.
"The fire was promptly extinguished by the owners of the apartment, the help of employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry was not required. One person was injured and transferred to doctors," - stated in the message.
A day earlier, the fire occurred in one of the apartments of a four-story apartment building in the Kamchatka region, firefighters rescued three people. One victim required medical assistance.
