Civilian injured in AFU attack on Belgorod region


The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have attacked three settlements in Belgorod Region, which resulted in one casualty. This was reported by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on December 24.
In the village of Borki, Valuisky district, FPV drones attacked two cars. It is specified that the driver of one of the vehicles was injured. The second vehicle was burned.
"A man with multiple shrapnel wounds to the face, forearms and legs by ambulance brigade was taken to Valuyskaya CRB," Gladkov wrote in his Telegram-channel.
Doctors are providing the victim with the necessary assistance.
In addition, as a result of an attack by four FPV-drones of the AFU on the village of Dolgoe of Valuysk district, three cars were damaged, a gas pipeline was damaged in a strike on the village of Borisovka of Volokonovsk district.
Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that overnight air defense (FPV) destroyed four Ukrainian UAVs over Russian regions. Three drones were eliminated in the sky over the Rostov region and one over the Voronezh region.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
