Rosgvardeys participating in the SSO were presented with state awards

On the instructions of the Director of the Rosgvardiya, Hero of the Russian Federation, Army General Viktor Zolotov, military doctors of the Main Military Hospital of the department and the Rosgvardiya officer who distinguished himself in the special operation zone were presented with state awards and valuable gifts. This was reported in the press service of the Rosguard on December 24.

The awards were presented by deputy head of the department, Colonel-General Alexei Vorobyov, assistant to the Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard troops, Hero of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Alibek Delimkhanov and head of the ANO "Pobedonosets" Nina Maslo. In addition, Lieutenant General Denis Ermakov, Head of the Main Military and Political Department of the Rosgvardia, and Colonel Oleg Bagaev, Head of the Main Military Clinical Hospital of the Rosgvardia took part in the event.

Private Sergei T., who was wounded during a special military operation (SMO), received the Order of Courage, the award was presented to him by Colonel-General Delimkhanov. He expressed gratitude to the serviceman for professionalism, courage and determination shown during combat operations, and also wished him a speedy recovery.

For high professionalism and dedication in providing medical assistance in the zone of the North Caucasus Military District, the medal of St. Luke of Crimea was awarded to urologist Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Ch. and traumatologist-orthopedist Major of the Medical Service Vladimir Ch. Colonel General Vorobyov thanked them for their work and noted that the work of specialists is appreciated by patients and the leadership of the Rosgvardia.

Delimkhanov, Vorobyov and Maslo also met with military and Rosgvardiya personnel who are undergoing treatment at the medical center. They congratulated the soldiers on the coming New Year, wished them recovery and handed over 50 valuable gifts.

Earlier, on October 4, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov presented the highest state award "Gold Star" and personal firearms to Russian servicemen who showed courage and heroism during the special operation.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the worsening situation in the region.
