Moskvich automobile plant admits premiere of new models in 2025

In 2025, the Moskvich automobile plant plans not only to start selling crossovers under the index 8, but also to present yet-to-be-announced models. This was reported in the press service of the enterprise, reports "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" on December 24.

The company said that the seven-seat crossover Moskvich 8 will arrive in the dealer network, presumably in the second half of February.

"Other models are also in the plans, but production is a resource-intensive and expensive process, it is impossible to bring out new models while there is no understanding of what the market of 2025 will be like. Of course, if there are prerequisites for the realization of new models, we will launch these cars," - said the company.

Initially, the production and sales of Moskvich 8 was planned to start by the end of 2024. On November 18, Ilya Petrov, director of retail sales of Avilon AG, said that, according to his forecasts, the cost of Moskvich 8 will vary from 2.8 million to 3 million rubles depending on the equipment.

On December 20, the production of manually driven cars was launched at the Moskvich automobile plant. Moskvich 3 crossover received a special modification. Such cars are specially adapted for people with disabilities. Control is carried out with the help of special hand devices instead of traditional pedals. This allows you to drive without using your legs.
