In the Leningrad Region, a man fell down an elevator shaft from the 6th floor and survived

In the town of Bugry, Vsevolozhsk district, Leningrad region, a worker fell into the elevator shaft from the sixth floor. This was reported on December 24 by the source of "Izvestia".

At the moment when the 60-year-old man was carrying out the hanging of the shaft, there was a displacement of the elevator deck. As a result, the worker fell down.

The man received multiple injuries, but survived and was hospitalized. The fact of the incident is being investigated.

Earlier, on December 1, a resident of Sevastopol was injured as a result of the fall of the elevator in an apartment building. A criminal case has been opened on the performance of work and provision of services that do not meet safety requirements (Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
