VK has launched the OpenVK initiative to publish its IT systems and products in the public domain. This follows from a message published on December 24 on the company's website.

"The OpenVK initiative promotes the exchange of knowledge and experience between IT professionals and is aimed at supporting and developing the developer community by giving them access to advanced technologies and tools," the message quotes Sergey Lyadzhin, technical director of VK's Social Platforms and Media Content business group, as saying.

The Tarantool platform, which can be used to create highly loaded applications, the StatsHouse data visualization system, as well as the VKUI design system for creating interfaces, are already available in open access. In addition, artificial intelligence models and libraries for them are available. For example, you can use the synthesizing speech model, which helps to give the artificial voice of the text emotional shades.

Earlier, on November 5, it became known that VK is negotiating with automakers to pre-install its media services in the multimedia systems of cars. The company expects that VK services will be pre-installed in every 10-10th Chinese car sold through authorized dealers by the end of next year.
