FSB publishes footage of interrogation of man detained for state treason

On Tuesday, December 24, the Federal Security Service (FSB) published footage of the interrogation of a detained employee of a regime enterprise for passing information about the Russian army to Ukrainian intelligence.
According to the agency, the man established contact with representatives of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine and gave them information about the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) for a monetary reward. A criminal case has been opened against him under Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code ("High Treason").
"The Russian citizen has been detained and taken into custody. He admitted his guilt in unlawful actions, actively cooperates with the investigation", - stated in the message of the Central Committee of the FSB.
At the moment, the investigation of the criminal case continues.
On the same day the Chelyabinsk district court sentenced a Russian to 16 years in prison for treason (Art. 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and sabotage (Part 1 of Art. 281 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Law enforcers found that the perpetrator had joined a terrorist organization created and coordinated by the main intelligence directorate of the Defense Ministry and the Security Service of Ukraine, and cooperated with a representative of a foreign state on a confidential basis. On the instructions of the foreign intelligence service, he committed sabotage at one of the transportation infrastructure facilities in the Chelyabinsk region.
