The Defense Ministry said that units of the "North" group of troops in the Kharkiv direction defeated armed formations of the Ukrainian army's mechanized brigade and the teroprotection brigade in the areas of Liptsy and Volchansk in the Kharkiv region.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost up to 40 servicemen, three vehicles and four 122-millimeter D-30 howitzers in this direction, the agency pointed out.

The Russian Armed Forces (AFU) also hit the infrastructure of military airfields, ammunition and drone depots, as well as concentrations of enemy manpower and military equipment in 146 areas.

In total, 650 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 38,420 UAVs, 590 anti-aircraft missile systems (SAMs), 19,967 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,504 multiple rocket launchers (MLRS), 19,969 field artillery and mortars, 29,469 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation.
