The construction of a new terminal at Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Airport in the town of Yelizovo has been completed. The realization of the large-scale project was announced by Governor Vladimir Solodov in his video diary.

The terminal will be equipped with five telescopic gangways. In the future, their number will be increased to eight. The throughput capacity will be more than 1 thousand passengers per hour. Parking lots will appear on the station square.

Earlier, on December 22, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that at least 75 airports will be modernized in the country over the next six years, and 250 billion rubles will be allocated for this purpose.
