In Khabarovsk Krai, 30 best students of specialized secondary and higher educational institutions from among the indigenous minorities of the North have been awarded a governor's scholarship. The corresponding order was signed by the head of the region Dmitry Demeshin.

IA AmurMedia with reference to the regional Ministry of Natural Resources specifies that such a measure of support is awarded to students who finished the academic year on "excellent" and "good" and achieved great results in sports, scientific and social activities.

The head of the department Alexander Leontiev recalled that the governor in September 2024 called local talented young people "the pride of the region and the future of the country". According to him, the tasks of regional authorities are to find and support young and ambitious people, as well as to create conditions for the disclosure and development of their potential.

Scholarships will be awarded to future engineers, lawyers, teachers, surveyors, specialists in additive technologies, cultural studies and social communication, as well as confectioners and cooks. Among them are students of the TOGU, Khabarovsk State Institute of Culture, Amur Humanitarian and Pedagogical State University and Far Eastern State University of Railway Transport.

In early November it was reported that in Khabarovsk Krai decided to establish a one-time payment of Br100 thousand for female students of universities and vocational training institutions under the age of 23 years. Earlier, a similar measure with larger amounts was introduced in Ivanovo, Chelyabinsk and Perm regions. The regional authorities believe that this will help to reverse the trend of postponing childbearing until later.
