Head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin has instructed to provide him with data on the investigation of the criminal case of the death of a newborn baby in the toilet of a roadside cafe in Transbaikalia. According to preliminary data, the baby was abandoned by its mother.

ChitaMedia news agency specifies that the baby could have been left in the toilet of the cafe by a 17-year-old girl, who was traveling in a shuttle bus from the village of Pervomaysky to Chita. It is preliminarily established that she gave birth at the stop in the cafe "Transit" and left the baby in the toilet. She has already been detained and a criminal case has been opened.
