Two people are missing in the wreck of a Russian ship between Spain and Algeria. This was reported on December 24 by the department of the Situation and Crisis Center of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"Of the 16 crew members (gr-ne of the Russian Federation) 14 people were rescued (delivered by the rescue service in the port of Cartagena, Murcia), 2 are missing," - stated in the Telegram-channel.

According to the DSCC of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the incident occurred after an explosion in the engine room.

About the crash of the Russian ship in the Mediterranean Sea became known on the same day. According to the media, the ship left St. Petersburg 12 days ago and was on its way to Vladivostok, where it was due to arrive on January 12.
