A grandmother and two grandchildren died in a fire in a two-story private house in Smolensk region. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia on December 24.
It is specified that the emergency occurred in the village Boltutino. In the course of extinguishing the fire involved nine specialists and two units of equipment.
"When extinguishing found the bodies of a 44-year-old grandmother and her grandsons of five years and a year. The 21-year-old mother of the boys was hospitalized with injuries", - stated in the Telegram-channel of the Department.
According to preliminary data, the fire in a private house occurred due to a short circuit of wiring.
On the same day, a large family lost three children in a fire in a two-family house in the Altai region. The parents took their son and daughter outside, the 12-year-old girl died, and the 16-year-old boy was hospitalized along with his legal representatives. The older 22-year-old son and 14-year-old daughter did not get out of the house. According to preliminary data, the fire was caused by a short circuit in the electrical wiring.
