There is no exact date for Russian President Vladimir Putin 's address to the Federal Assembly yet. This was announced by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Tuesday, December 24.

Earlier, on November 23, Peskov said that preparations for Putin's address to the Federal Assembly had begun. Then he also emphasized that there are no specific dates yet, but before the end of 2024 the announcement of the message will definitely not take place.

This year Putin delivered his address to the Federal Assembly on February 29. During it, the President, in particular, announced the launch of five new national projects in the Russian Federation: "Family", "Youth of Russia", "Data Economy", "Long and active life" and "Personnel". In addition, Putin touched upon the topic of the special military operation to protect Donbass and called those people who serve the country the true elite of Russia. The head of state shared that he was proud of the soldiers of the Russian army.

The Russian Constitution stipulates that the head of state addresses the Federal Assembly with a message every year, the speech should be devoted to the situation in the country and the main directions of foreign and domestic policy of the Russian Federation. In the address, the President shares his assessment of the situation in the country and outlines the goals to be achieved in the future.
