Four more UAVs suppressed overnight by REB means in Rostov region

In Rostov region four more unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were suppressed overnight by means of electronic warfare (EW) in Millerovsky and Tarasovsky districts. This was reported on December 24 by acting governor Yuri Slyusar.

"Overnight in Millerovsky and Tarasovsky districts four more UAVs were destroyed and suppressed by means of electronic warfare. There are no casualties, information about the consequences on the ground is being clarified," he informed in his Telegram-channel.

Slyusar also noted that the threat of drone danger in the Rostov region remains.

Earlier, on December 23, in the Rostov region, air defense forces (Air Defense Forces) destroyed nine drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). It is noted that the attack was repelled between 20:40 and 21:20 Moscow time.

Before that, on December 22, acting governor of the region Yuri Slyusar said that the air defense forces and electronic security means (REB) eliminated eight Ukrainian drones over the territory of the Rostov region.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
