A 100-meter container ship Amnah overturned in the port of Istanbul

A 100-meter container ship overturned in the port of Istanbul. On December 23, the Ministry of Transport of Turkey informed about it in the network X (former Twitter).
It is specified that the vessel overturned on its side in the port of Ambarli.
"15 people were evacuated from the Comoros-flagged container ship Amnah <...> The risk of sea pollution was brought under control by surrounding the vessel with a floating barrier," the ministry's press service reported.
Earlier, on November 29, the Turkish-flagged oil tanker Kadriye Ana ran aground off the coast of Istanbul due to a powerful storm. The vessel was under the threat of wreckage, so the crew of 12 people was evacuated. No one was injured as a result of the incident.
