Lawyers told about the consequences of violating the fireworks ban

Violation of bans on the use of pyrotechnics may threaten not only buyers but also sellers with fines. Lawyers told Izvestia about this.
Bans and restrictions on the use of pyrotechnics imply also a ban on its sale, so sellers may face fines of up to 40 thousand rubles, said Deputy Head of the Federal Mediation Center Vladimir Kuznetsov.
"Persons using pyrotechnics in violation of the ban may be held administratively liable for violation of fire safety requirements with a fine of up to 50 thousand rubles," - said the lawyer.
It is possible to bring to responsibility on this basis and without established bans on the use of pyrotechnics, he reminded.
"Regional practice also allows us to conclude that the use of pyrotechnics contrary to the prohibitions may threaten with liability for petty hooliganism and violation of the requirements for observance of silence at night. In such cases, the size of the fine can reach several thousand rubles," - emphasized Kuznetsov.
If the use of pyrotechnics damages someone else's property, the citizen may face a prison term of up to one year, added lawyer Alexei Gavrishev. If it is a matter of causing serious harm to health or death, send to prison for up to seven years.
