AST Publishing House is negotiating with the Polish side on the release of a new book by Andrzej Sapkowski from the fantasy series "The Witcher", which is called "Crossroads of Ravens" and tells about the youth of Geralt of Rivia. About this "Izvestia" told the editor-in-chief of the publishing house Nikolai Naumenko.

Sapkowski's new book from the universe "The Witcher" was released in Poland in November.

Previous works of the fantasy series since the 90s were published in AST. According to Naumenko, negotiations are now underway with the Polish side to acquire the rights to release "Crossroads of Crows" as well.

"Yes, we have plans to conclude such an agreement, however, on the timing so far I can not say anything, now all go on Christmas vacation," - he specified.

In the meantime, the Network posted a pirated translation of a potential bestseller, the author of which is a historian, journalist, science editor Alexander Svistunov.

In AST with respect to the translator-amateur are resolutely unkind.

"The answer here will be simple - as soon as we have the rights to the publication, we will clean up this pirated translation, do everything to cover the sites where it is distributed," - said Naumenko.
