Russian Embassy tells of French businessmen's desire to do business in Russia

French entrepreneurs are asking the Russian Embassy in Paris to help them enter the Russian market. This was told in the Russian diplomatic mission in the Fifth Republic to Izvestia.

"We can say that many French small and medium-sized firms survive thanks to supplies to our country. Requests from French entrepreneurs asking for help to enter our market come to the embassy on a regular basis," the diplomats noted.

At the same time, the embassy noted that the trade turnover between the two countries is at the lowest level compared to the indicators until 2022. At the same time, France purchased a record amount of Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) in 2024. The diplomatic mission emphasized that Russia does not refuse to supply its gas. And if there will be solvent demand from the French side, there will be a supply.
