Former Spartak player to take charge of Italian Monza

Former Spartak Moscow defender Salvatore Bocchetti became head coach of Italian soccer club (FC) Serie A "Monza". This is reported on December 23 by the press service of the club.

The contract with 38-year-old Bocchetti will be valid until June 30, 2027.

"Monza" occupies the last, 20th place in the standings of the Italian championship with 10 points for 17 matches, writes "Sport-Express".

On the same day in Italy, 22-year-old soccer player Romano Mussolini, great-grandson of Benito Mussolini, playing for Juve Stabia, scored the first goal of his professional career, which fans in the stands met with Nazi cheers.
