Sergunina invited Muscovites and tourists to New Year performances

A rich stage program, which will last until January 12, was prepared for the guests of the festival "Journey to Christmas" held in different districts of Moscow. This was reported by Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalia Sergunina.

"More than 1.5 thousand New Year's plays, concerts and children's matinees are waiting for the visitors of the festival. The main characters of performances are characters of domestic cartoons and fairy tale movies", - reported Sergunina.

At dozens of sites daily performances of musical groups and solo performers take place. So, in the district of Shchukino on December 24 will show the production "Shaybu! Shaybu!" on the plot of the Soviet cartoon of the same name. On December 26, Manezh Square will host a performance based on the film "The Snow Queen". And at the festival site in the district of Severnoe Medvedkovo on December 26 will be a performance inspired by the animated film "Frost Ivanovich".

The addresses of all locations and a poster of events are published on the page of the festival in the travel service Russpass.

"Journey to Christmas" - part of a large-scale project "Winter in Moscow", which will combine all seasonal events from December 1 to February 28. Within its framework more than 1.9 thousand locations will work. Muscovites and tourists are invited to warm themselves with tea, skate, ski and tubing, watch ice shows and participate in charity.
