Russian Defense Ministry shows footage of the destruction of reconnaissance UAVs in Kharkiv region

Drone operators of the "North" group of forces have destroyed reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kharkiv Region. The footage was published by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 23.

The footage shows drones in the air destroying several enemy drones in the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone.

The Defense Ministry added that the drones continue to monitor the sky around the clock and identify reconnaissance UAVs of Ukrainian militants.

In November this year, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of objective control of the destruction of a mortar crew of one of the AFU units by the operator of the FPV drone of the "North" group of forces in Kharkiv region. The decision to fire was made after the exact coordinates of the enemy's location were determined and confirmed.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
