In Bashkortostan, a man kidnapped his girlfriend's lover, forced him to drive and left him beaten on the highway. This was reported by the source of "Izvestiya" on December 23.

The incident occurred in Meleuz. A 33-year-old girl got acquainted in social networks with a man and told about the new buddy to her cohabitant. Having learned about the affair, he convinced her friend to appoint a meeting with her lover.

Having caught the rival in the entrance, the man attacked him, and then put him in his own car, threw a charging cord around his neck and ordered him to drive towards Sterlitamak.

On the 197-km Ufa-Orenburg highway, the man asked the driver to stop and get out of the car. Finally, he urged him to do a good deed and help the orphanage, threatening otherwise to burn his car, after which he got behind the wheel and fled.

The victim was diagnosed with a closed head injury, a broken nose, hematoma and abrasions. His kidnapper was detained. A criminal case has been initiated on the fact of the incident.

Earlier, on December 12, in Serpukhov near Moscow, a 46-year-old man killed his 37-year-old cohabitant because of jealousy, and then hurt himself and went to hospital.
