14 civilians killed by AFU attacks in DNR during the week

In the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), 14 civilians were killed and another 21 people were injured in attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) last week. This was reported on December 23 in the office of the ombudsman for human rights in the DNR Darya Morozova.

The corresponding infographic was published in the Telegram channel.

The total number of dead civilians for the entire period of attacks by Ukraine amounted to 9,466 people, including 245 children. And the total number of injured reached the mark of 14,911 people.

Earlier, in November this year, in the Donetsk People's Republic, one person was killed and another injured when a car collided with an explosive object. The incident occurred near the Donetsk-Mariupol highway. It was reported that a man born in 2000 was killed. A local resident born in 1990 was also wounded.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
