In Tobolsk, the activity of the swimming pool was suspended after children were poisoned by chlorine vapors

In Tobolsk at the recreation center "Skazka" suspended the activity of the swimming pool, where 15 children were poisoned by chlorine vapors. This was reported in the Department of Rospotrebnadzor for the Tyumen region in Telegram-channel on December 23.

"According to the results of laboratory studies of air and water samples from the pool bowl, non-compliance with hygienic requirements for the content of chlorine was established. In connection with the revealed violations of sanitary legislation the activity of the pool is temporarily suspended," - stated in the message.

It is noted that the situation is under control of the Department of Rospotrebnadzor in the Tyumen region.

December 21, it was reported that 17 people were hospitalized after swimming in the pool at the recreation center in Tobolsk. Among them were 15 children. On the fact of the incident was initiated a criminal case under part 1 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements").

The mother of one of the victims told "Izvestia" that the administration of the recreation center "Skazka" did not react in any way to the complaints of visitors about the pungent odor. According to the girl, her daughter was celebrating her birthday with friends in the swimming pool.
