AvtoVAZ announced the launch date of the new Lada Vesta Sport

The debut of the modernized Lada Vesta Sport will take place in the second quarter of 2025. This was reported in the press service of AvtoVAZ, reports "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" on December 23.

Details about what the Vesta Sport will be, the company has not yet disclosed. AvtoVAZ said that another novelty in 2025 will be the Lada Niva Sport SUV, and in the summer at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) will premiere a crossover based on Vesta.

In addition, in winter, AvtoVAZ will equip Lada Vesta with a six-speed manual transmission, the Vesta family will receive climate control. Finally, next year the Niva family will be equipped with a 1.8-liter engine.

Earlier in the day, AvtoVAZ announced the launch of commercial production of the classic SUV Lada Niva in a new Sport modification. The company promised to disclose information about the timing of the start of sales, prices and configurations later.

On December 13, AvtoVAZ announced that the Lada Izhevsk plant began production of the seven-seat Largus station wagon and the Largus Cross modification, which features increased ground clearance and additional body protection.
