In Novosibirsk, a woman was sentenced to 16 years for murdering her husband and molesting her children

A regional court in Novosibirsk sentenced a woman to 16 years in a general regime colony for child abuse and murder of her husband. This was reported in the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction in the region on December 23.

On the aggregate of crimes the guilty was appointed 16 years of general regime colony, as well as restriction of freedom for one year.

According to the court, in the summer of 2022, a 36-year-old woman at home committed acts of sexual nature against two children. In the fall of the same year, during a quarrel, she hit her spouse 10 times on the head with an axe. He died from the wounds.

Earlier, on December 19, the court in Krasnoyarsk sentenced a man, who committed 26 years ago a high-profile murder of a family with a child, to 17 years in a strict regime colony. The man fully pleaded guilty to the crime, gave a detailed account of the circumstances of the murder, and also showed the place where he hid the bodies.
