Russian Armed Forces destroy US Stryker APC in Kharkiv region

Servicemen of the "North" group of forces have destroyed an American Stryker armored personnel carrier (APC) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Footage of the combat operation was published by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 23.

The movement of the APC was detected by soldiers of the reconnaissance unit of the grouping of troops with the help of aerial reconnaissance means. The decision to strike was made after analyzing the intelligence received.

The US-made APC was eliminated by a direct hit by an FPV drone.

"Objective control of the destruction of the armored personnel carrier of the AFU militants was carried out by means of aerial reconnaissance in real time," - added in the department.

Earlier, on December 21, the Defense Ministry showed footage of objective control of the destruction of a German tank Leopard AFU in Kharkiv region. The grouping of troops "West" eliminated the target by a series of direct strikes FPV-drones.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
