Russians told about successes and failures at work in 2024


In Russia, 29% of respondents named a salary increase as the main successful event over the past year. At the same time, 47% of respondents, recalling failures, told about burnout at work. This is stated in the results of the research of analysts of the platform hh.ru, which were read by "Izvestia" on December 24.
Luck in the form of salary growth more often than other professions this year visited lawyers (41% of positive responses from this area) and marketers (40%), workers in the areas of food service and procurement (37% each), IT specialists (36%) and builders (35%).
Experts have found out that Russians have a new job in the second place among the successes of 2024. This was stated by 28% of respondents. Every fourth (25%) respondent managed to successfully go on vacation and have a normal rest. Also among the top personal achievements: new books read (24%), advanced training (23%) and dream purchases (17%).
Among the main failures of the year, 47% of survey participants named burnout at work - compared to the answers in 2023, the share of such respondents increased by 5 percentage points. Marketers (64%), as well as top and middle management and educators (58% each) faced this most often.
In second place among failures was frustration with a company or job (40%). In addition, 24% of respondents said they had constant overwork, and 23% reported failing at an interview for a dream company. At the same time, 22% of respondents quit their jobs, and a similar number complained about worsening working conditions at their current place of employment.
Every fifth respondent complained about health problems, and 20% of respondents had conflicts with colleagues as one of their problems in the past year. In addition, among the failures of 15% of respondents called the denial of a salary increase, 12% - the denial of promotion.
Earlier, on December 18, it was reported that almost half (47%) of the surveyed Russians are considering for themselves the possibility of changing jobs in 2025. Among them, 3% will do it for sure, and 44% are ready to move only if they get a good offer. This is stated in the results of the study of the service "Work.ru". At the same time, the majority (84%) of job seekers will prioritize salary and financial remuneration when looking for a job.
