The main colors of wealth in the new year will be gold and red, Svetlana Ugarova, an oriental astrologer, fengshui expert and businesswoman, told Izvestia on December 23. She gave some advice on how to celebrate the holiday to attract the energy of abundance in all areas of life.

In general, to attract wealth according to feng shui on New Year's Eve, one should pay special attention to three aspects: the Christmas tree, the New Year's table and the outfit.

Clothing should be predominantly red with gold. At the same time, the table setting should use the same color scheme.

Fengshui specialist noted that on the table should be cooked fish, preferably whole - with the tail and head. There can also be a dish of waterfowl. However, meat, including chicken, is undesirable. It is worth decorating the table with fruits, especially pomegranates, only be sure to cut them so that the grains are visible.

"Another important fengshui ritual is associated with red-colored money. In Russia, these are banknotes with a nominal value of 5000 rubles. They should be taken nine pieces and put "track" from the edge to the edge of the table where all the guests will gather on New Year's Eve. Put the money under the tablecloth," advised the oriental astrologer.

The forest beauty itself should also be dressed up mostly in red and gold. It is also allowed in green," she explained.

Astrologer added that the year of the green wooden snake will come only on January 29. And although it is not customary to celebrate the Chinese New Year in Russia, Ugarova advised to pay attention to this date.
