A third of companies will increase spending on employee training in 2025


Russian companies plan to actively invest in personnel development next year. Thus, 33% of employers will increase the cost of employee training, 54% will keep budgets at the level of 2024, only 9% will reduce them and only 4% do not plan to train employees at the expense of the organization. This follows from the results of the study of the Russian School of Management (RSM), which were presented to "Izvestia" on December 24.
The experts found out that the largest amounts of companies are ready to invest in the training of top managers: more than Br100 thousand per person - 29%; from Br50 thousand to Br100 thousand - 27%; from Br30 thousand to Br50 thousand - 17%.
For training of middle managers the most popular category of expenses is from 50 thousand to 100 thousand rubles per person (39%), followed by budgets from 30 thousand to 50 thousand rubles (34%). At the same time, companies are ready to invest more modest sums in training of line personnel: from 30 thousand to 50 thousand rubles - 38%; from 10 thousand to 30 thousand rubles - 36%; up to 10 thousand rubles - 18%.
In addition, to optimize budgets and better combine work and study, employers plan to simultaneously use face-to-face and online formats (81%), as well as to combine internal and external educational programs (77%), specified in the RSU.
"The survey results show that Russian businesses realize the importance of investing in employee training. Companies budget significant amounts, realizing that the development of professional competencies is not an expense, but a contribution to sustainable growth and competitiveness. In 2025, the trend towards blended learning formats will continue to grow. This will allow employers to use resources more efficiently and improve the qualifications of staff at all levels," said Anastasia Borovskaya, Director of the Russian School of Management.
Earlier, December 9, it was reported that in 2024 in 53% of surveyed companies increased salaries to employees. This is stated in the results of the study of services "Work.ru" and "SberPodbor". Also 44% of respondents told about the growth of brand awareness, and 43% - about the increase in profits.
