"Temperature swings" predicted in Primorsky Krai

In Primorsky Krai this week "temperature swings" will continue. The temperature will range from -37 to +3 degrees Celsius.

According to forecasters, in the second decade of December, the air temperature was close to the climatic norm. In the west and south the deviations amounted to 2.3 degrees, in Terneisky municipal district it was colder than the norm by 1.4 degrees. About it writes IA PrimaMedia.

On the night of December 24, the air temperature will be -15...-21 degrees, in the north-east - up to -37 degrees. On the coast of the south it is expected to be -9...-14 degrees. In the afternoon, the temperature will increase by 2-5 degrees. Precipitation is not expected. On December 25, with the approach of the cyclone, night air cooling will decrease, which will lead to further warming. Daytime temperatures will be -1...-8 degrees Celsius, with a thaw to +3 degrees Celsius possible in the south. A little snow is possible.

By the end of the week precipitation will stop. Frosts will intensify.

According to the scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand, this week the air temperature will exceed the norm in most regions. The warmest weather is expected in the Asian part of the country.
