Changan revealed the characteristics of Avatr 11 crossover for Russia

The Chinese electric crossover Avatr 11 has been certified in Russia, the model has received the Vehicle Type Approval (VTA). On the Russian market, the car will be presented with four or five seats, according to the report of Changan Motors Rus, which was received by Izvestia on December 23.

The length of Avatr 11 is 4880 mm with a wheelbase of 2975 mm. In the Russian market the crossover will be offered with two power units to choose from - 323-horsepower single-engine rear-wheel drive and two-engine all-wheel drive with 578 hp. The flagship version is capable of accelerating to a hundred in 4.5 seconds. Since in the Russian Federation the transportation tax for electric cars is calculated by units of 30-minute power, for a two-motor Avatr 11 with a power of 110 kW the tax will amount to 5,250 rubles per year, the company calculated.

Depending on the type of drive, the capacity of traction batteries supplied by CATL is 90 or 116 kWh, respectively. The most "long-range" version is able to travel 625 kilometers without recharging according to the NEDS cycle. It is noted that this standard more accurately demonstrates the real range of the electric car, rather than more common in China CLTC cycle.

The list of equipment of the crossover includes Brembo brakes, electrically operated doors with automatic closers, Meridian audio system with 25 speakers, ventilation and massage of front and rear row seats, adaptive cruise control and other options. The cars are promised an eight-year warranty.

On December 4, it was reported that the electric crossover Avatr 11 will receive a comprehensive adaptation for the Russian market, which includes Russification of the interface and corrosion protection. Changan announced the launch of the Avatr luxury electric car brand in Russia on November 12. The brand was created in partnership with Chinese IT giant Huawei.
