Labor Ministry recalled the two-day first working week in January

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Russia reminded that the first working week of January 2025 after the New Year holidays will last only two days. The ministry announced this on December 23 in its Telegram channel.

"It will be necessary to go to work on Thursday, January 9. And the first working week after the New Year holidays in 2025 will be two days," the ministry wrote.

Thus, January 9 and 10 will be the only working days in the first week after the New Year holidays.

Earlier, December 16, it became known that the New Year holidays will last 11 days - from December 29, 2024 to January 8, 2025. It was reported that December 30 will be a day off, as the working day from this date was moved to December 28, and the last working week of the year became a six-day week.
