In Russia, the cost of CMTPL insurance policies has decreased by 7% over the year, according to data from the financial marketplace "Sravni", which was reviewed by "Izvestia" on December 23.
"We note the growing interest of Russians in insurance, which indicates positive changes in the financial behavior of Russians. The increase in interest in such products indicates an increase in the level of financial literacy and responsibility," said Vladislav Golovkin, director of insurance business development at Sravni.
According to the financial marketplace, the average cost of an MTPL policy amounted to 6593 rubles, which is 7% lower than in 2023. The average difference in the price of MTPL policies for the same car in different insurance companies amounted to 3314 rubles. At the same time, it is noted that Russians began to buy hull insurance policies 4.5 times more often. The average cost of the policy amounted to 42 208 rubles, which is 16% higher than a year earlier.
Earlier, December 20, it was reported that in 2025, the tariffs of CMTPL insurance will be adjusted for motor vehicles, public transport and trucks. For individuals will increase the coefficients for an unlimited list of persons authorized to drive a vehicle. A number of territorial coefficients will also change.
