A drilling rig caught fire near the village of Krasnogorsky in the Orenburg region. About it on Monday, December 23, reported in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

"Near the settlement of Krasnogorsky there is a flaring of the gas fountain of the drilling well. There are no victims," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the department.

Firefighters have begun to eliminate the fire. 56 specialists and 24 units of equipment are working on the site. For the dismantling of structures is used engineering equipment.

Earlier, on August 26, there was a fire at the Omsk refinery due to the explosion of a gas cylinder during the repair of equipment of the primary oil refining complex. The fire was localized on the area of 150 square meters and eliminated the same day. Governor of the Omsk region Vitaly Khotsenko said that as a result of the incident seven people were hospitalized, one died. A criminal case was initiated.
