The FSB detained a resident of the Kherson region who worked for the SBU

Employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia in Kherson region on December 23 stopped the illegal activities of a local resident involved in cooperation with the intelligence services of Ukraine, the press service of the agency reported.

The suspect established contact with a representative of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in 2023 and on his instructions collected and transmitted information about the places of concentration of forces and means of the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation in the region.

A criminal case was opened against her under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("High Treason"), she was taken into custody.

At the moment, all the circumstances of the woman's activities and identification of criminal ties are being established.

Earlier, December 20, a resident of Kamchatka region was sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime colony for high treason because of cooperation with the SBU. The defendant did not admit guilt and filed an appeal to review the court decision, but it was rejected.
