Trump has announced his intention to rename North America's tallest mountain

The highest mountain in North America called Denali will be renamed in honor of the 25th President of the United States William McKinley, who was assassinated in 1901. This was announced on December 22 by US President-elect Donald Trump during a speech to supporters in Phoenix, Arizona.
"He was a great president, we're going to bring back the name of Mount McKinley because I think he deserves it," The Guardian newspaper quoted him as saying.
Mount Denali is located in Alaska in the center of the national park of the same name. Its height is more than 6.1 thousand meters. In the late XIX century, the object was named in honor of William McKinley, but in August 2015 Barack Obama, who was then President, renamed the mountain.
Earlier in the day, Trump said that the US would demand the rapid return of the Panama Canal to state ownership. He specified that the country was giving away too high a fee for the use of the Panama Canal and it was a "disgrace" to the state. According to Trump, the isthmus is essential for U.S. trade and naval deployment.
